At 6:50am, TVFD was dispatched for an engine to assist Station 48 (Glenmoore FC) at a special rescue on Barneston Road in West Nantmeal. Responding units were advised of a hunter that had fallen out of his tree stand and was stuck upside down approximately 25 feet up. Deputy 48 (Seese) arrived confirming the report and requested Ladder 69 respond in place of Engine 69-1. GMFC and TVFD crews gained access to the patient with multiple ground ladders and secured the subject to prevent further injures. Chief 48 (King) arrived relieving Deputy 48 of Barneston Command and requested additional resources and equipment from Rescue 69 and Ladder 49 (East Brandywine FC). All crews worked together to safely lower the subject to the ground and after an extended period, he was transferred to EMS for evaluation at a local hospital.

TVFD cleared at 8:55am.
