At 5:11pm, TVFD was dispatched with EMS units for an automobile accident with entrapment at Route 345 and Yoder Road in West Nantmeal. Responding units were advised of multiple calls reporting a pickup truck verses a box truck with at least one subject trapped. Deputy 69 (Brooks) arrived assuming "Bulltown Command" and confirmed the callers reports with one subject heavily trapped and another subject confined. Rescue 69 and Engine 69-1 arrived and crews split to secure and stabilize both vehicles, and extricate the victims. EMS personnel began treating the injuries and protecting the patients during the extrication. Fire police closed the roadway and detoured traffic around the scene. After removal, 69 crews assisted EMS with safely packaging the patients for transport to a local trauma center. A large debris and fluids area had to be cleared from the roadway and crews assisted the towing company with safely removing the vehicles.

TVFD units cleared at 6:47pm.
