This past weekend, TVFD members and emergency service guests took some time to enjoy an evening of events and dinner held at Timothy's Restaurant in Lionville for the department's appreciation banquet. This event is held annually to celebrate the accomplishments and dedication of the firefighters, families, friends, and mutual aid emergency services that assist in the daily operations.
The night started with a happy hour meet and greet, followed by a delicious catered meal by Timothy's staff. TVFD's Fire Chief Jason Brooks concluded the evening's events by presenting several awards to members, as well as a special appreciation trophy to previous Chief Pete Hornberger for his years of dedication. The after party was held back at the firehouse, where lots of memories and laughs were shared. Twin Valley Fire Department officers and firefighters would like to thank everyone who joined us this evening and for the continued support and service throughout the year to make us what we have become today. Special thank you also goes out to the Timothy's staff, Downingtown's Minquas Fire Company and Paoli Fire Company for providing standby coverage of the TVFD area, and the banquet committee for arranging yet another memorable evening.
The following individuals received awards for their hard work and dedication throughout 2017:
