At 4:41pm, TVFD was dispatched for a woods fire on Laurel Rd in Warwick. Responding units were advised of callers reporting illegal shooting being done in the area that started a significant fire in the nearby woods. Chief 69 (Hornberger) arrived confirming a working woods fire with no threat to nearby homes. Brush(s) 69-1, 69-2, and 69-3 arrived and crews worked to contain and extinguish the involved area. Engine 69-5 set up for water supply, while fire police handled traffic and crowd control. After crews completed overhaul operations, the State Police arrived to begin an investigation and fire units were released.

TVFD cleared at 5:15pm.
