At 2:23pm, TVFD was dispatched to a woods fire on Park Ave in Elverson Borough. Responding units were advised of a controlled burn that extended into the woods and some nearby equipment. Chief 69 (Hornberger) arrived confirming a large woods fire involving a tractor and other equipment, with a nearby exposure to a garage. An additional brush truck and tanker were requested, bringing in Lancaster Station 34 (Churchtown). Crews from Brush(s) 69-1, 2, and 3 and Brush 34 worked together in containing and extinguishing the involved area, while Engine 69-5 and Tanker 34 provided water supply.

While TVFD was busy at the Park Ave fire, standby units Engine 48-5 (Glenmoore FC) and Brush 62 (Ridge FC) were dispatched from Station 69 to another reported woods fire on North Twin Valley Road in Caernarvon Berks. Chief 48 (King) arrived confirming a fire pit that extended into the wood line. The standby crews were joined by crews from Brush 69-2, Engine 69-1, and Utility 69 to contain and extinguish the fire.

Due to the multiple fires being handled at the same time, additional standby units from Kimberton and Ludwig's Corner were sent to cover the TVFD area from the firehouse.

All calls were cleared at 4:55pm.
