At 6:04pm, TVFD was dispatched to a brush fire on Route 176 at milemarker 3 southbound in Caernarvon Berks. Chester County fireboard advised of numerous reports through the Berks County 911 center of several small fires spreading in the median. Chief 69 (Hornberger) and Deputy 69 (Brooks) arrived confirming 2 separate fires in the center median. The updated location was in Robeson Township, and units from Geigertown, Gibralter, and Cumru had already been dispatched through Berks County. Brush 69-1 and Engine 69-5 arrived and assisted units from Berks with extinguishment and overhaul. All TVFD units were cleared and returned available.
