At 6:41pm, TVFD and EMS were dispatched to an automobile accident at Route 82 and 345 in West Nantmeal. Responding units were advised on reports of one vehicle overturned in the area of the intersection with unknown injuries. Deputy 69 (Brooks) arrived confirming the location to be on Route 82 just north of Lammey Road in the area of the "S-curve". The driver was already out of the vehicle and stated that he was uninjured. Ambulance 89-1's crew evaluated the driver, while crews from Rescue 69 and Engine 69-1 secured vehicle hazards and fluids on the roadway. Chief 69 (Hornberger) requested a utility crew response due to a damaged pole, and fire police set up a detour around the effected area. Units remained until the State Police conducted an investigation and the vehicle and debris were safely removed.
