Today, three TVFD junior firefighters competed in the Keystone Firefighter Conference junior competition. The conference is held annually at the Greater Philadelphia Convention Center in Oaks, and this is the first year TVFD participated. Broedy Belgarde, Justine Dymond, and Lucas Richarson were accompanied and cheered on by Lieutenant Wilson and Firefighter Dymond throughout the day of the competition. The timed events consisted of gear donning and hose deployment from a fire engine. These young members practiced many evenings with the other TVFD juniors at the firehouse, and proudly represented our department. Keep up the hard work and dedication to these individuals as well as the rest of our young firefighters, as you are the future of Twin Valley Fire Department!
