Truck Fire on PA Turnpike
TVFD, March 30
At 6:41 the department was dispatched to mile post 295.8 west on the PA Turnpike for a tractor trailer fire. Chief 69 went on location with a working fire impinging on the cars on the trailer. Members Complete Vegetation Fire Training

Over the past few weeks, TVFD members have been preparing for the upcoming nice weather and the woods/brush fire that come with it. Driver trainees have put in a lot of hours learning the brush trucks, tool location, hose loads and off road water supply options. Brush Fire on Twin Valley RD

At 16:09 the department was dispatched to 4469 North Twin Valley RD for a brush fire. Brush 69-1 arrived on scene with a 100'x50' area of wooded area on fire spreading to a field. On 2/17/2024, TVFD was alerted for Engine 69-5 to assist Station 73 (Ludwig’s corner) on a commercial building fire on the 1000 block of Pottstown Pike (Rt. 100). Fuel Spill

TVFD was dispatched at 13:33 to the intersection of South Twin Valley RD and Hemlock Rd for a fuel spill. Rescue 69 responded and while en route they were advised approximately 50 gallons of diesel fuel was spilled.
